Hudson Valley author Elizabeth Young presents her debut book Loose Limbs: a story of survival, which follows a young girl named Maddie who masters healing, perseverance and will to overcome an unexpected accident in her childhood. Based on personal experience, in this short story Young creates a setting that imparts themes of strength, sadness, loneliness, social acceptance and - above all - survival.
